In-Person Cancellations

In-person workshop bookings can be cancelled up to 2 days before the session date. If you cancel within this window, you are eligible for a refund. In case of an emergency, you may reschedule your booking with notice.

Private In-Person Policy

Private in-person classes can be cancelled up to 7 days before the session date. If you cancel within this period, a refund will be issued. If your group size changes, contact KraftStories and they will do their best to accommodate added or removed participants. In the event of an emergency, rescheduling is possible with notice.

Learn the Basics

Your instructor will guide you through the essentials of moss art—including the variety of preserved mosses available, such as Pillow Moss, Deerfoot Moss, and Reindeer Moss. You'll learn how to use these different types to create unique textures and colors, along with design principles and how to work with natural accents.

Plan Your Design

Decide on the overall layout—geometric, organic, or abstract. Use your imagination to choose and pick from a variety of frame styles, moss types, and natural elements to form a piece that matches your unique design vision. Sketch or map out your arrangement with guidance from the instructor.

Arrange & Secure the Moss

Experiment with placement, then begin attaching moss and natural accents using glue to your provided wood frame—typically around 10x10 inches. Incorporate driftwood and other organic textures for a rustic, handcrafted look as your instructor demonstrates layering techniques for depth and contrast.

Finish & Display

Add final details, set your piece in its frame, and learn tips for hanging and caring for your moss wall art at home. Your finished moss wall art does not require water or sunlight, making it a perfect, maintenance-free addition to any office or indoor space.
