Google Calendar: Settings → Import & export → Import, pick the file, and choose which calendar it lands in. Outlook: File → Open & Export → Import/Export → Import an iCalendar (.ics) file. Apple Calendar: File → Import. In all three, put it on its own calendar rather than your main one — that way you can toggle it off, or share just the calendar with your team without sharing your own schedule.
No. Every event is marked all-day and free rather than busy, so nothing blocks your availability and nobody scheduling over you sees a conflict. They sit quietly along the top of the day.
Each occasion carries one alert set eight weeks ahead — the point at which booking is still comfortable. For the four dates that genuinely sell out (Earth Day, Diwali, the week before Thanksgiving, early December) treat eight weeks as the last reasonable moment rather than the target, and aim for three months.
