Our Commitment

A workshop is a small thing to build a company around. We think that’s the point — small, hands-on moments are exactly where trust gets built or lost, one guest at a time. Here’s what we hold ourselves to.

Real technique over shortcuts. If we teach it, someone on our team can actually do it — Turkish mosaic lamp work rooted in real heritage technique, rug tufting taught properly rather than reduced to "point the gun here." We’d rather run fewer crafts well than pad a menu with things nobody on our team truly knows.

Every guest gets taught, not just seated. A host’s job is to teach, adjust, and notice when someone’s stuck — not to press play on a video and wait.

Inclusion is structural, not an accommodation you have to request. We design sessions so people with different physical abilities, experience levels, and comfort with "art" can sit at the same table and leave with something they’re proud of.

We tell you what something actually is before you book it. If an experience is loud, messy, seated, or physical, you’ll know going in.

The same standard, every city. New York, San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Irvine, Austin, Honolulu, and virtual — different rooms and hosts, same standard for materials and teaching.

We’re accountable, in person. The founders who started KraftStories are still involved in running it. If something goes wrong, it isn’t a ticket that disappears into a queue — reach out and a real person will fix it.
