How to Care for a Closed Terrarium
Closed terrariums need balance, not frequent watering. These simple habits help your miniature ecosystem stay healthy.
Use bright indirect light
Place your terrarium where it gets bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun to prevent overheating inside the glass.
Condensation is normal
Light condensation is part of the natural water cycle in a healthy closed terrarium and will change with room temperature.
Adjust moisture gently
If constantly dripping, open the lid briefly to release humidity. If very dry for a long period, add only a small amount of water.

This is a beautiful terrarium and a nice kit altogether. It was purchased as a gift for my mom and stepdad, and they absolutely loved it. I’ve marked it down a star because of the poor instructions. Telling the customer to ‘pour in enough water to make the soil a brownie batter consistency’ is quite vague and open to interpretation. Thus, my mom and stepdad ended up overwatering the terrarium. It’s an easy fix (just leave it open, and find a way to get excess water out of the bottom) but these instructions definitely need adjusting by Kraft Stories for future sales. I’d advise anyone building this kit to do their own research before adding water to ensure you provide the appropriate amount relative to the size of your terrarium (generally less than you’d expect). Still, this is a great product and only needs minor improvements. I’m a happy customer.

Terrarium is well made, however it took a little over two weeks to arrive and the plant that came with it died. Obviously shipping is not the shops fault, and my previous terrarium I bought from the shop is thriving. Shipping just took to long thus time around unfortunately.

Excellent terrarium set. The front access door makes it easy to set up a clean and organized arrangement, and watering is super easy, though you won't have to water after setup because the door seals nice and tight. Got this as a gift for my 13 year old daughter and she absolutely loved it.
