What It Is
Ebru, also known as Turkish marbling, is a traditional paper art where pigments are floated on a prepared water surface, shaped into patterns, and then transferred onto paper. Instead of painting directly on paper, you paint on water first, then capture the pattern in a single print.
In this workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of ebru, including how colors behave on water, how to create classic patterns, and how to transfer your work cleanly onto paper. It is beginner-friendly, visually stunning, and deeply satisfying because every print is one of a kind.
