The Crafty Kit

About the studio

The Crafty Kit started with a simple idea: the best team events are the ones where everybody ends up with something in their hands. Every table is set before the group arrives — chocolate and moulds, evergreen and wire, a living bonsai, a blank trucker hat — and a host works through it with you, so nobody is left reading an instruction sheet.

The team comes out of fifteen years of corporate work, and it shows in the running of it: sizes collected before your sweater date, vegan and gluten-free boxes on request, flavour and design options agreed with the organiser in advance. They have built events for Fortune 500 companies and for groups of ten, and the care is the same either way.

The studio on Charles Street doubles as a Craft Café, and the whole business is built around one belief: making something with your hands is good for you, and better still in company.

Meet Katherine Tozduman, founder

Katherine founded The Crafty Kit and runs it as CEO alongside her co-founder Ersin. She built the business around art as wellness rather than art as a novelty — the belief that an hour of making something, properly hosted, does more for a team than another call.

That shows up in the detail: kits packed so nothing is missing, hosts who teach the technique instead of reading a script, and a studio on Charles Street where every one of these workshops runs.
