Step away from the rush and into a two-hour sanctuary of color and calm. Led by Nur—a Turkish designer and educator based in Honolulu—this workshop is a creative refuge that bridges ancient tradition with modern mindfulness. Hosted in the heart of Hawaii, you will hand-craft a Turkish mosaic lamp designed to bring a warm, intentional glow to your home. As you place each hand-cut tile, you’ll find a rare moment of quiet, setting a personal intention and proving that “it doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.” Trusted by 1,000+ Global Teams: Trade screen fatigue for a premium, hands-on experience that celebrates connection and cultural storytelling.

What to expect

Leave the "busy" at the door. Here is how your two-hour journey unfolds:

  • Intention & Storytelling: We begin by setting a personal intention for your piece—such as growth, peace, or flexibility—while Nur shares the 5,000-year history of Turkish mosaic art and sacred geometry.
  • The Power of Flow: Experience a "meditative flow" through the repetitive placement of glass tiles and beads. This tactile process is specifically designed to quiet mental chatter and act as a digital detox.
  • Expert Guidance: Nur provides live, hands-on coaching. Our process is inherently forgiving—tiles can be adjusted and patterns shifted in real-time, ensuring a high-success result for every skill level.
  • Cultural Connection: While you create, explore the philosophy of light and Mediterranean rituals (like Turkish coffee culture) in a warm, human atmosphere that feels like making art in a friend's living room.
  • A Glowing Result: You’ll walk away with a functional mosaic lamp and the confidence to continue creating meditative, pattern-based art at home.
