So excited to be able to share the mirror tiles at my next Mosaic lamp class. I’m sure my party goers will be excited to add them to their designs. Good quality and plenty of tiles!!! Thank you!
Most team-building and date-night options ask you to sit, watch and consume — a paint-by-number canvas, a demo where someone else does the cutting. We made the opposite bet: people do not need to be entertained, they need something real to do with their hands.

You leave with something you made, not a photo of something you watched. Three things make that true.
Turkish mosaic lamp work, rug tufting, block printing, sand-brewed coffee — these are not gimmicks invented for a party format. They are real crafts, and every workshop is taught by someone who can actually do the craft.
A host adjusts to the table in front of them instead of running a fixed demo at the front of the room. They notice who is stuck before that person has to put a hand up.
Real craft needs space, light, storage and a sink. Ours are set up for making, not borrowed for the afternoon — so nothing gets packed away at 6pm because another class is coming in.
KraftStories Originals
Each one started as a question in our studio, not a listing in a supplier catalogue. We build them, teach them, and keep editing them.
The reason people book a second time is rarely the craft. It is that nothing was left to them.
Cut, measured and laid out at your place before you walk in. Nothing to buy, nothing to bring.
Every original is written for someone who has never done it. No one finishes empty-handed.
One person, in the room the whole time. They teach the steps and catch anyone falling behind.
Ours. You leave with the piece and a photo; we deal with the wax, the glass and the floor.
A finished piece, not a half-done one. If it needs to cure or set, we tell you before you book.
Three ways to get a group making something. They are not the same job, and we are not the right answer for all of them.
| Booked craft class | DIY kit night | KraftStories | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who wrote the workshop | A supplier catalogue | Whoever is free that day | Us — tested in our own studio first |
| Who owns the room | Rented by the hour | Your office cafeteria | Ours, set up for making |
| Who teaches it | A freelancer, first time with you | Nobody — follow the card | A host who runs it weekly |
| If you have never done it | Hope for the best | Hope for the best | Written for a first-timer |
| Remote teammates | Not possible | Not possible | Kits ship to their door, same session |
| Set-up and clean-up | Often yours | Yours | Ours |
| What you leave with | A photo | A part-finished piece | A finished piece |
| Who is accountable | A booking platform | You | Four founders, still hands-on — not a franchise playbook |
Honest note: if you want something cheap, spontaneous and small, a kit night at the office wins. Book us when the group is mixed, the occasion matters, or you do not want to run it yourself.
Two ways to make
Terrarium, mosaic lamp and candle kits, built at kitchen tables.
Studio sessions in New York, Honolulu, San Francisco, San Jose, Irvine.
New York, San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Irvine, Austin and Honolulu — the same standard for materials and teaching in every room.
Seven cities, ours to run — including two rooms in New York and two in the Bay Area. Walk any of them room by room before you book.
The same workshops, packed into cases and set up in your office, hotel ballroom or venue. We bring the tables covered and take the mess with us.
Kits ship anywhere in the world and your remote teammates join the same live session. Nobody watches a screen while everyone else makes something.

No, and most people have none. Every original is written from zero. The host takes the group through it step by step and stays with anyone who falls behind.
That we wrote it. The steps, the timing, the materials list and the failure points were worked out in our own studio and tested on real groups before it went on sale. It is not a workshop we licensed or a kit we resell — and the craft underneath it is a real tradition, not a party format.
Yes. We bring everything, cover the tables, run it and take the mess with us. Tell us the room and the group size and we will confirm what fits.
Kits ship to their door and they join the same live session. They are making the same thing at the same time as everyone in the room.
Small tables of six through to well over a hundred across multiple rooms or a venue. Group size is the first thing we ask, because it decides the studio and the workshop.
Tell your host in the room, or us afterwards. Our commitments page sets out exactly what we do about it and how fast.
