Rug tufting is a hands-on textile art process where yarn is guided through a backing fabric to build a soft, textured design. In this experience, you will learn how to use a tufting machine, control lines and shapes, and turn a simple concept into a custom rug.
Our NYC Financial District studio version is designed for both individual makers and large groups. It keeps the experience clear and approachable, while giving you enough room to create something personal, tactile, and genuinely satisfying to take home.

Learn the Tufting Basics
Get introduced to the tufting machine, yarn handling, and core safety basics before starting your piece.
Tuft Your Rug
Build your design section by section with guided support. You will learn how to control curves, fill space, and create a balanced final piece.
Finish and Take It Home
Complete the final touches, review finishing details, and leave with a rug that feels personal, playful, and made by you.

This is an in-person workshop. No shipping required—all materials are provided at the venue.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the workshop date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 3-6 days before the workshop will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 3 days before the workshop are non-refundable. In case of emergency or extenuating circumstances, please contact us directly to discuss options.
