Rug making class NYC means a beginner-friendly, 3-hour in-person rug tufting workshop in our Financial District studio, where you’ll learn to safely use a tufting gun, control lines and shapes, and turn a simple idea into a custom rug with hands-on guidance. It’s built for first-timers exploring textile art, anyone looking for a creative personal experience in New York City, and groups booking team-building, corporate events, or private gatherings.
All necessary materials and tools are provided for the workshop.
Our Financial District studio is designed for both individual makers and large groups, with public, private, and mobile workshop formats available. In-Person Cancellations
In-person workshop bookings can be cancelled up to 2 days before the session date. If you cancel within this window, you are eligible for a refund. In case of an emergency, you may reschedule your booking with notice.
Private In-Person Policy
Private in-person classes can be cancelled up to 7 days before the session date. If you cancel within this period, a refund will be issued. If your group size changes, contact KraftStories and they will do their best to accommodate added or removed participants. In the event of an emergency, rescheduling is possible with notice.
