A boutique DIY studio on South Rochester Road, ten minutes from downtown Rochester and an easy drive from Troy, Auburn Hills and Shelby Township. Instructor-led craft classes for all skill levels, a Saturday walk-in craft bar, and a retail boutique of home decor to pair with what you make.
About the studio
AR Workshop Rochester is owned by Kimberly Berlin and Christine Shovein, longtime friends who rediscovered a shared love of DIY and home decor in 2017 and have been teaching Oakland County to make things ever since. Their award-winning holiday sled design is recognised across the AR Workshop franchise.
Every class is instructor-led and beginner-friendly: you choose your design, your colours and your finish, and you leave with the finished piece the same night. Bring your own drinks and snacks - BYOB is always welcome.
The studio hosts private groups too: birthdays, bridal and baby showers, corporate team building and fundraisers.
