If constantly dripping, open the lid briefly to release humidity. If very dry for a long period, add only a small amount of water.

This is a really charming kit that makes a great present or party activity. Do be sure to open the box immediately since there are live plants included. One of my three tiny plants had died because I left the box on the porch too long. I purchased a small plant at a nursery and that worked great. It is packaged really well and attractively.
