What changes the number
- Food and drink. The biggest swing. A drinks package or catering adds $30–$80 per head at most Manhattan venues. Only 5 of our 145 team events in the past year added a paid food package; most teams go out afterwards or bring their own.
- Room fees and minimums. Bars, bowling and golf venues often quote a low per-head price with a food-and-beverage minimum on top. Workshops usually bundle the room.
- Rotation vs. everyone at once. Lanes, bays and escape rooms occupy people in shifts; a 20-person team needs several stations. Workshops, cooking and hunts keep everyone active together.
- Timing. Weekday afternoons are cheapest and most available; December and Friday evenings book out four to six weeks ahead.
- Mobile. Bringing the workshop to your office replaces a room fee with a flat event fee and lets you use your own catering.
